Alcohol inks provide vivid and vibrant colors. No two pieces of art are the same. It's impossible to duplicate the results of the different colors of ink and their interaction with one another. Yupo paper is a synthetic paper that is tree free and environmentally friendly.
This bold piece reminds me of a fiery lava flow. The vibrant colors are quite striking.
About Angeline Beres
From the time Angeline was a small child, her artistic abilities were apparent. Whether is was painting, writing, or drawing, her creativity found an outlet. Art is, and has always been, a fundamental part of her life. Alcohol ink on synthetic paper is her preferred medium. The fast-drying and dye based inks create a spontaneous artistic environment. The ink's translucency allows dramatic effects to be achieved and their fluidity yields unique and organic works. Water and the sky are her muses. Her artwork predominately features one or both in some aspect. The fluid movement of the ink lends itself to her interpretation of these inspirations.
